Open Cluster

This cluster may have been originally discovered by G. Cassini before 1711, and rediscovered by Messier in 1772.
This is another small cluster, only about 200 stars belong to this bad guy.  It is approx 10 light-years in diameter, and astronomers believe it is only about 3,000 light-years from earth.  It almost has a heart shaped with a visual magnitude of about 6.3.
